Steak House Ribera, Gotanda

In terms of the quality of food, it is aweful. You can have much better quality steak anywhere in Tokyo at a much cheaper price. But the worst part is hygiene. The cup was very dirty and not properly washed, so was steak dish. The master dipped his finger in the sauce. I am really puzzled by good reviews usually given by foreign wrestling fans. This place lives on its past.

This is a funny little place that's been there forever. Simple menu, good but plain fare, a bit overpriced, and cooked incredibly fast. The owner is a great guy who loves American wrestling and plays old, old style Country & Western music. We got right in, but there was a line waiting when we left. Counter seating only for about 10 people.

This is the original Ribera Steak House. We were served by the original owner. It seats about 10 people TOTAL at a bar type setting. Steaks come out on hot plates with corn, a side plate of rice, and a bowl of salty steak sauce. Try the house red wine, it's tasty! For about $100US, we ate like royalty with the quality and deliciousness that is steak.Highly recommended. Enjoy!
